Stop Animation with Candy

Work together in groups of 3 to create a stop animation movie that is around 30 seconds long using candy. After planning and taking the pictures for your animation, you will render your movie using Movie Maker (this is the program students will use for the Cyber Corps project). Then we will enjoy watching all the creative stop animations everyone has made!

Setting duration for stop animation in Movie Maker

Before you import your pictures into the storyboard or timeline, you must set the default duration:

• Click on Tools...Options
• Choose the Advanced Tab

• Set the default picture duration and transition duration
• Import the photos into the timeline.
